Basketball in Danmark

Basketball in Danmark has a long history, but its official debut did not come until the 1951 European Basketball Championship.

The country was represented by the Danmark basketball team, organized by Danmarks Basketball-Forbund (DBBF), which is the Danis Basketball Federation.

This championship was held in Paris and together with Danmark the teams from Turkey, Finland, Austria and the Soviet Union participated in Group B.

Besten10 official supplier of the Danish Federation

At Besten10 we have reached an agreement with the DBBF to be the sportswear supplier for the next three seasons.

In addition to the Absolute National Teams (both male and female), we will dress their training teams, referees and any event organized by the DBBF.

Personalized design

Upon receiving the news that we were going to work with the Danish basketball federation, our design team started discussing ideas for new kits for the national team. We wanted to surprise with an innovative idea but following the elegant and classic line to which we are accustomed. What could Besten10 bring to these kits?

We made a simple sketch inspired by retro designs from the golden age of basketball. The background of the shirt is based on the official DBBF logo. Create a contrast with the color of the kit that gives dynamism to the design.

To the shorts we have added some organic details on the sides following the line of the shirt. The idea is to highlight the curves of the design and give it a different look.

The result has been more than satisfactory. The kits are elegant and showy, with the distinctive touch of our brand. A young and ambitious brand that cares about the values of the club it represents.
